Although the likelihood of those women being armed is small, a person can rush that distance a whole lot faster than you might think. I'd be keeping a weapon on them, too. Also, the threat of being shot tends to keep them back and out of the way.
Right. Small likelihood, but not zero. Her hands go out of sight and to her waistband. She's making demands of armed men and not being too rational - there is some chance that she might try to enforce those demands, as crazy at that is.

And she is the role model and parent that raised the asshole they're arresting. I would put nothing past her.

Prior to the passenger getting out, they’re also covering his door. From there, they still haven’t secured the car, and there could be someone in the back.

Don’t know the backstory, but that number of cruisers don’t show up at your cul-de-sac for something trivial.

what is the kid accused of? i agree with @socialhero that it must have been serious.

I’d bet a $100 E-Truck deposit that whoever that car is registered to has something serious in their history, or warrants, or both, and when they got lit up they fled.

Fled all the way to mommy’s house. :laugh2:

better yet, tmz.

A vile woman whose son was being taken into custody did everything she could to make a simple arrest turn violent, as she ordered her son to escape the cops and then hurled obscenities at the officers.

This all went down in Valencia, about 35 miles north of L.A., where Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Deputies were searching for a stolen Tesla in the area -- and happened upon another stolen vehicle ... a Chevy Camaro.

"what? he was playing grand theft auto!"

Incredibly ... the mother, who gives Karens a bad name, was not arrested. Her son was arrested on weapons charges.
- tmz being legend.

"What's your name, sweetheart? I haven't made any bad decisions this week so how 'bout we make one together? Wanna see if we can tie those Mom-Pants behind your head?"

She looks like she'd be fun for 2,.. maybe 3 dates... tops. Then become insufferable and remind you why you have a burner phone for dating. :laugh2:

Growing up I always wanted to live in California suburbs. Think of all the movies in the 80's.. ET, Poltergeist, the John Hughes movies... all those movies were California suburbs and they looked beautiful and just seemed like a great place to live. Sunny, beautiful people, beach access. ..

Meanwhile I had grey skies and a crack epidemic on the streets I grew up on.

I still think my idealistic 80's suburban California neighborhood would be amazing to live in.

except,.... you know.... it's in California. And stupid expensive.
