I just got a call from Sweetwater that my 1959 is in! I ordered at the end of October and it should be in my hands by Friday. Here are a few of the pics they sent. The case does not appear to have the extra neck support so I asked if they could put some bubble wrap under the head stock to be safe.

Not only that, but due to new VAT rules, you'll end up having to pay import tax on items from the EU.(if they deliver)

Sweet!!!! I’m waiting on mine from them. The case will probably have the second neck support. They don’t show it in the pic. But it was in mine. Probably just laying down, believe it slides in and out. Very nice aged cherry guitar!

I’m really getting into that finish and fit my first LP I think that’s the finish I’m going for , just so confusing cos that finish they also call amber, but now they like calling it appetite too ..confused I am lol

Also next thing to consider will be currency conversions ,eg if they ask 595 but when in stock will it still be 595?

Not to be a buzz kill, but I hope there was something on the photo and those are not pin holes in the finish to the left of that pup....

That's the only photo that shows up in, so i suspect it was something on the camera lens. I processed the photos in Photoshop before I posted them and zoomed in to make sure whatever that is didn't show up in any of the others.

No. It's now due to be delivered on Monday. Sweetwater didn't ship the day I ordered and FedEx 2nd Day really isn't second day. I'm not thrilled, but I guess I've waited this long...

Yeah, that’s like the USPS 3 day priority. It means three days, not including the day you ship it. They don’t really make that clear.

Lol, same with my Firebird from SW, was supposed to be 2 days (knew it wouldn't be) but it took 4. But that was okay because that was Christmas Eve and I hadn't gotten that cool of a Christmas present in years, lol

And if you ship it "ground", it's going to take 7 to 12 days, even if dispatch puts it on a plane and it's sitting at the terminal 2 miles from your house 12 hours after it was shipped.
Nope... you didn't pay for it, you're not getting 2nd day delivery.
