Yeah, I get that what you just said. Got it the second time, missed it the first.

But that is not my point at all.

Why on god's green earth would someone throw such a thing in the trash can?

Evidently, there is sufficient fear of this happening to the point that they feel they need to sticker the instrument with a warning not to do that?

Does anybody else see the ridiculousness in that, or is it me alone?
Same as the cancer warning on Fender guitars in CA

its just European waste regulations thats all

a tickbox excercise for the manufacturer to put a sticker on it - dissolves them of their responsibilities. as said above same as fender cancer warnings

Agreed, I'm a huge fan of wide, Chevron shaped Tiger stripe flame, and they don't make them much better than that. That's why I bought my Eastman SB59/V, had that kind of flame!
Ahh the Eastman we still haven’t seen.....

Yeah Geezer, I'm sorry. I figured it had been so long that a NGD post wouldn't be the right way to go about it, but I know you wanted to see it, so did Pop, and several others. So, if you'd be okay with me doing a NGD post on a guitar I've has 2 months,( I didn't actually plug it into a tube amp until yesterday), I'll post it this weekend. What ya think buddy?

If you're looking for a perfect one good luck. I know people will say there's is absolutely perfect, yeah..ok..

I saw the photos of the white dots on your fretboard, a little unsightly. Did you try cleaning it with a fretboard cleaner of your choice and a toothbrush and then oiling it? Or, could be just the way the wood is.

That one with the white in the fretboard was not my guitar. The dots I had where on the back of the neck in the finish sticking out.

Got ya. I just read your post again. The dots could be dirt in the clear coat. You could always brings those down yourself with some fine grit or have somebody do it for you if you're not comfortable dealing with it.

Yeah I lost track of who posted about what problem. lol. Anyway, you can in many cases take those white streaks out of the board. Glad you sorted it out.

Yeah a lot of these issues are relative to what bothers the owner. What may be an issue for one person may not be an issue for somebody else. I spend most of my time playing them and not staring at them. The main thing that'll make me return one as I've already stated quite a few times is neck issues and horrible fretwork.

Mine is from the same place. I doubt you'll find a perfect one.

Turtle wax (polishing compound) and 3 hours of hand polishing. I like the finish now. Not a professional job but an improvement in my opinion. The flame actually shifts now...
