Probably the only issue I have wtih my recent purchase. Since I've yet to turn a sngle screw on this guitar, a small problem that I'm sure has a hopefully simple solution.
I've noticed an anomaly in the plugged in (via audio interface, no amps yet in new apartment) that has an analogy to the symptioms of Stratitis or excess magnet pull from proxmity to string. When I looked at the neck pickup, the polepiece side of the pickup cover is much higher than the slug (plain) side. The bridge pickup and pickup ring are fine, nearly parallel to the string. The pickup ring of the neck pickup is fine, it is nearly parallel to the strings.
How do you fix the angle of the pickup in the pickup ring?
Epiphone Les Paul Custom neck pickup and ring
Epiphone Les Paul Custom bridge pickup and ring
for comparison, here's my R9 pickups and rings
Gibson R9 neck pickup and ring
Gibson R9 bridge pickup and ring
