Did SW send you an email with pics of the guitar?I should just keep a running tab at this point. Got an email late this afternoon that my 59 has shipped and included tracking. Currently FedEx says that the guitar should arrive Friday, however the funny thing is at the bottom is the product information/cost. Under the product information it has a product release date of 10/6.
I'm so confused.

Today it is sold outThomann now say 7-10 weeks lol.......
I just don't understand under what circumstances Gibson could possibly think this is a good way to do business. Ads, websites are up in the morning, and gone by the afternoon. The release date in January was June 23rd, mine showed up at Sam Ash on the 2nd, or 3rd, maybe earlier, because they didn't call me when it came in, they waited until I called and asked to remember it was sitting in the back. Now they keep changing the date on people, 6 weeks, October 6th, October 31st, 7 to 10 weeks, 12 weeks, December, the 12th of never! Jeez, come on Gibson get your shite together! I doubt I'll deal with them again considering the various negative issues that can pop up at any given time. I know that they are capable of producing fine guitars at each of their brands, but rarely do you find a single guitar without some kind of issue. If I ever buy another guitar, I'd get another Eastman, their T59/V semi hollow body, or a Romeo! I can't believe the crap that has been the rollout of the 2020 Epiphone 59 RI!
My rant for the day! K~
L& M here in Canada won't release my guitar to me until Oct 6, they have 20+ in stock at the warehouse and won't release them until that date, WTFI just don't understand under what circumstances Gibson could possibly think this is a good way to do business. I wonder how many other will mysteriously find their way out of warehouses against Gibson's wishes LOLTexted my SW rep and he ended up calling me back. He can't explain how my guitar got out of the warehouse. He basically said good for you man, let me know how it plays.

Arsholes!!! F@!” EmL& M here in Canada won't release my guitar to me until Oct 6, they have 20+ in stock at the warehouse and won't release them until that date, WTF
I know all about Paul, a close friend knows him well, and bought 3 of his guitars when he was an unknown boutique builder. However, I found my way to a workshop,(not a factory!), in Bejing, China, and unless I find something that's an offer I can't refuse, I'll be getting nothing else! They're that good!Is it really a surprise? Unfortunately Gibson have a bit of a history of screwing things up....Don't get me wrong I love Gibsons and Epiphones, own and have owned many of them.. Obviously they management communication between the USA and Import lines is not working..
Again...let me direct you to a little company in Maryland to show how it's done....![]()
It's not L&M's fault, I'm sure Gibson has forbidden dealers from making anymore deliveries until the "Big Unveiling" hahaha, what a crock of shit!Arsholes!!! F@!” Em
Get one, you'll love it.I love my '07 Epi '57 Reissue Junior that I bought used, and was tempted by the new Epi Special,...
I thought that my Junior could use a companion...

If the body of the 2020 Junior had that kind of paint job, I’d own one right now.
