This baby came home a few weeks ago. I love it. It’s a Limited Run VOS with no weight relief. It came stock with Custom Buckers but I changed the bridge pickup out for a Dirty Fingers with gold screws.

Same as @jestremera !!! Loving this special run. Beautiful ebony board. Very nice light VOS ( I do not like the look of a shiny brand new guitar). I am not a fan of heavy rile but a light VOS I am all in!

I did not jive with the Custom Buckers so they found a new home here on this forum. I replaced them with some nice older EMG's. I love a Custom with EMG pickups. I have an older Duncan JBJ incoming so that may end up in the Custom or an older Studio I have waiting for pickups. For now.......I am loving this combo and it will likely stay as such.

I figured I'd ask you both at the same time, is that run all mahogany, or is there a maple top on them?

I probably should have given them more of a chance. Being an old school metal guy it is ingrained in my brain to swap out for a JB, EMG, or Super Distortion and I cannot get passed that. I know lots of folks love the Custom Bucker but they just did not do it for me instantly and I sold/traded them. I did get a sweeeet 80's JB wound by Ms. Juarez with the "JBJ" sticker still intact on the back as a partial trade plus cash. So pumped.

I have updated images to share here. '73 Custom. I have nearly all the original parts. No strap buttons or tailpiece (long stupid story).

Changes; ReWind PAF-1 pickups and splotchy "aged" (disappointed) speed knobs. Will not name the vendor here. Not sure if I should have a go at aging myself, or just un-age them. Leaving as is is an option too.

I soldered an original to this guitar gold cover on the neck pickup because Jimmy Page. I like the visual cover on / off balance too.
