Small plane crash by my home..

I live a bit out of town..semi rural area. This landed a couple miles down the road. Everyone OK..

A t least this happened out by me and not in Tucson..

We had one of our Snow Birds crash in Kamloops yesterday! They were performing across Canada to lift peoples spirits. One dead other in hospital. Ejected and landed on the roof of a house. So sad They were planning to be on the west coast today. RIP Capt. Jenn MacDougall she never ejected.

Actually, I live in the "central" area of the "Dirty T".
But back in the day I dated a girl who lived in the housing community (that we've been replacing signs for) where the plane crashed-or rough landed...

She happened to meet a certain Sir Paul McCartney who lived out there at the time as well!!!
But that's another good story!

Paul and Linda used to take the kids for day trips from the ranch. I'd run into them at the Circle K occasionally..just west of the crash a bit.
Walking by..he looked like he just wanted to be "a guy"

Said.."Hi Paul,,great day out today" (or such ) he..big smile..and he just said "cheers..excellent day"..

I have lived near where I am for 45 years..when there was really nobody out this way..

The ranch is down the road toward the base of the Rincon Mts..the really only way to it is along this road..or Helio..or trail that goes south to Speedway..back then (probably still) 4WD path..

Linda died there..

McCartney still owns the ranch..
