We bought some good quality clippers ten years ago and my wife gives me a buzz cut every two weeks.

exactly, how can anyone on the planet with a cell phone think they aren't leaving i digital footprint everywhere they go? snowden made that public in 2013.
Not to get into tinfoil hat territory, but this company tracks “anonymized” (suuure it is) cell phone data. They took a snapshot of all the cell phones on ONE Fort Lauderdale beach during spring break. Then tracked where they travelled to in the US afterwards.

It's not good to be a woman during this, that's for sure. If I was a guy I'd probably just start clipping it short, but I'm not going to do that.

If things get really scraggly here I may have to just cut it myself.

Pandemic fear an loathing were never an influence on any gun purchase I ever made.

Emotion and firearms do not make for good bedfellows.

However, there is all manner of bad ju-ju out where I live. It's too close to Los Angeles, and far enough for the freak show and weirdos, druggies, etc to feel safe enough to operate.

Not everybody who owns firearms is knee-jerk reactive nor suffers from apocalyptic delusions.

Most of us who do own firearms consider the realities of our environment out here when making the decision to have firearms in our home.

Some of us are actually decent, responsible people who are the very example of safe.

Believe it or not.

All that being said:

There are no "shortages" , only panicking hoarders. If a store is out of something, blame the skittish and the panicked. And the selfish pigs. Everybody ought to talk to the store personnel to find out for themselves. Deliveries are made to all the supermarkets and big stores like Wal Mart etc every day of needed items that fly from the shelves, which are gone completely within the first hours of store operation. No masks, no gloves on shelves. There would be, if they weren't being hoarded. So now they are not as readily available to the general public to make certain the health workers, doctors, first responders etc have what they need to deal with actual cases. Out where I live, most folks are going on as usual through this, with a bit more caution applied to their surroundings and other people. They are actually quite calm and cheery, for the most part.

Haven't seen any apocalyptic delusionals around at all.

People- "we need more laws making it hard to get a gun!"

Same people during pandemic- "holy shit why is it so hard to get a gun!"

:laugh2:

Big Brother is watching you.

Super! Telling us something most everyone knew has been going on. Guess it was a good time for them to air it out and show how caring they are. It sure is nice to have someone care about you so much that they bother to take the time to spy on you.

Lots of good news coming down the pike for anyone willing to look for it.

Apologies of this has already been posted. I have been working all day and then driving for the past 4 hours.

One benefit of the Chinese Wuhan Virus is the speed limits seem to have been repealed all across the eastern USA. If you're only going 80mph, move out of the left hand lane. I got passed more times today than I have in the last two years.

Prince's mausoleum?
Exactly. One of my sisters was a purple fiend in high school.

Every time I pick up a rental car in Minneapolis/St. Paul, I swear the radio station (whichever one it is on, doesn't matter) plays a Prince song before I can get out of the airport and get on the highway. The guy could play...and some of my best carnal memories...err...came while listening to Prince.

What's significant about it is the public admission that they've been flat-out lying for years.
