No problem, they are pretty inexpensive from PLT&S if you want to get a new set.Ok bummer thanks though!
Right on! I’m looking forward to hearing if it makes a difference.Just arrived this afternoon....will drop it in tonite or tomorrow !!
Thx Again
spent an hour practicing after dropping it in ( it replaced a Tung Sol el84 & am using tung sol preamp 12ax7 currently)Right on! I’m looking forward to hearing if it makes a difference.
I ordered some JJ tubes and a Warehouse 8” speaker for my Bugera V5 from StewMac, they sent me Ruby tubes instead. I did notice about the same as you with it sounding a little more open. Can’t wait for the speaker to break in a bit more.spent an hour practicing after dropping it in ( it replaced a Tung Sol el84 & am using tung sol preamp 12ax7 currently)
It was subtle but there is a positive difference esp when using bridge pickups. More open ...me likey
It's gonna stay in for sure.
Thx Again my Canadian friend !
