Italy is a third world country.
WTF?
Italy is a third world country.
WTF?
Sorry, I should say that Italy is a "Developing economy."WTF?
People are long past losing perspective on this run of the mill virus. Yes, it has some interesting attributes (probably engineered in by the Chocoms), but it is not, repeat, not a big deal. More people in the USA probably die from auto-erotic asphyxiation in a year than this virus.
Two of my kids are traveling for Spring break, next week (one skiing out west, the other going to Caribbean). I am probably going to Vegas (not my favorite city). On the upside, I can do a round trip to Vegas, staying in a 4+ star hotel for 3/4 nights for under $300. So, that should free up another $700 for the T&A expenditures...
Not to rain on anybody's end of the world scenario but that data from South Korea shows similar distributions as China and Italy. Give or take 10 years of age.

Coronavirus death rates in South Korea reinforce a frightening pattern of how the disease affects older people
Death rates in South Korea have been lower than in other countries hit by the coronavirus pandemic, but elderly patients are still more at risk.www.businessinsider.com
I do have some skin in that game as my 86 year old dad works in a local hospital.
Time to retire maybe?
Membership has It’s advantages. Good health to him.Fat chance. He's stuborn. Anyway they've taken really good care of him including a stroke he had at work. The staff is trained to keep an eye on the 60 grey jackets and one of them noticed dad not his normal self and had him getting treated in literally under 10 minutes.
This comment could be relevant in any thread. My God, CNN is terrible
Help me understand this... ban on travel (flights) from the EU to the US.... OK, got it. Travel (flights) from UK to US is allowed... OK, got it.
So, I get on a plane in <somewhere in the EU> and fly to the UK, then fly to the US, from the UK.
WTF am I missing?

Trying to make sense of any of that? Anyone’s guess. Good luck figuring it out, I was equally confused!
