I plan on using GeorgeL cables, but has anyone used those plug to plug connectors? And are they any good?

George L's are nice, but pricy. I just use those Hosa's 6 inch.. with mostly true bypass pedals, I've had 0 problems.

Those were my 2nd choice. :)
These plug connectors will bring my pedals closer, not a problem for me. Any reviews?

I don't trust those.. I'm the kind of person (moron) that would stop on a box too hard or off-angle and f up the input jack of the pedal.

Thanks! I hadn't thought of that. If I step on it wrong, there's no give. With my luck, either the plug will snap or the jack will be damaged.

I'll be looking at those HOSA's a bit harder now.:thumb:

I ordered a bunch on ebay.. something like 25 (including shipping) for 6 of them.. they're about 6-7 each at any local music stores to me.

I've used GeorgeL's on my board for about 5-6 years, only had 1 cable go bad. I took the end off, clipped about 1/4 inch, put the end back on, and haven't had a problem since.

Great cables for boards, and worth every penny.. :)

For the money, the best thing going for me. All my cords (guitar and patch cords) are G L's. I have a 25' cable that I got around 95 and I'm still using it!

And I always say this when writing about G L's, good enough for Eric Johnson, more than good enough for me.

+1 there, buddy. He's got the pickiest ear in show business I think. :)

I always had a problem with my guitar cords knotting up on stage, so I use Klotz cords for my longer runs.

I do like the GeorgeLs though.

Thanks for the replies, y'all. I switched from cheap guitar cords to Mogami & Planet Waves, why not spring for some good effects cables?

I need some good cables and pedal connectors. Any reviews on Monster? So far what I've read in this thread, George L is about the best.

Planet Waves makes offset connectors to let you stagger your pedals. They work really well. Great for running something next to a wah for example, where the jack is nowhere near the next jack. Also keeps cables from getting up under your wah rocker.

No problem man! I run pretty basic stuff... Tuner-Wah-Compressor-Overdrive and even when I have them strapped to a board, the little patch cables going to and from my wah always seem to lift up and go under the rocker, causing damage to the cable or not allowing me to turn my wah off or on, and you know how it is... you don't have time to bend over and fiddle with cables during songs!

The offset connector works well for me, and the stiff short connectors especially if your pedals aren't anchored to a board, makes it less likely that they'll move around on the floor, or stage.
