yet another singer rant

Just a quick one.
We have a couple of people coming to audition for the front person spot on Friday. One of which is a woman who informed us that she doesn't like the name we have chosen. ( i personally didn't know we had chosen a name but whatever) . She says it doesn't suit a band with a female Front person and that we should all vote on the name.
My reply was "tell her if she passes the audition we will discuss it then"

You know maybe its just me but IMHO when going on an audition one should show up on time do ones best to be spot on and blow every one away with your ability and leave quietly
Then if you get in the band hit them up with your ideas and suggestions.
One should not IMO show up with demands and complaints about the band, the band name or the song selection.

I mixed for a band years ago that had a female singer, and she was such a diva. I would have the monitors so loud you'd almost here them over the mains, and she would be yelling at me that she wanted more monitor....

I received a text from the other guitar player this morning saying there is a problem. He has been dealing with her.
He said as stated above that she thinks "we all" need to decide on the name.
From what he says has gone on with her already I don't think shes gonna work. But we will wait and see.

We had an audition once with a female singer and she was pretty hot and not a bad singer . She killd herself cause she couldn't quit telling us how everything should be . Then she called back about a month later wondering why she hadn't heard back from us.

we also have a guy coming who from the recordings I've heard sounds really good. I gave him 6 or so songs told him what night and the address . His response was " sounds good"
Looking forwawrd to his audition.
He is also coming in right behind her. I'm gonna try and make it to where she is still ther when he comes in. If no other reason just to see her reaction

Anyone that puts the cart that far in front of the horse needs to be TOLD WTF is up. There would be nothing to "go on". It would go like this...."if you are interested in auditioning for the job, let's set up a time that works and come up with the tunes to be played at the audition. Anything else is putting the cart before the horse, and can be discussed if you are a good fit for the band".
