That's just crazy.

My ex's father somehow knew a guy named Richard in El Paso Tx. She seemed to think they worked together for a short period of time. Anyway Richard was friendly enough and wanted get to know the father and his family. She remembers her father saying he was persistent in trying to interact with him and his family. But Dad thought the guy was a creep and never took him up on inviting him over for dinner, socially, etc.

Eventually Dad sees Richard again, but not in El Paso. He's on the news in Cali and being brought up on charges.

No bull, it was Richard Ramirez, then known as the Night Stalker.

Holy crap. El PISSo is just 45 or so miles south!
