Well the Rockett Animal new version arrived.

I really really like it. It is better IMO than the big box Animal of yesteryear. Much more gain range both up and down and the bass and treble knobs work great. To me it's an improved Animal but based on the same platform. You have to decide if the "upgrade" is worth it if you have a Pro Series Animal. The Tour Series is very nice though and you should give it a listen when demos become available (there are none now). To me it's much refined.

Hahaha sorry Hector!

On another note, that movie might just be my favorite of all time. :D The sequel sucked. It had all of the grotesque humor (which I like) with none of the innocence and charm of the first film. The first film was lightning in a bottle, for me. It had a great storyline. Also one of the best soundtracks ever IMO.

Jim Carrey is one of my favourite actors, truly a comedy genius that Hollywood turned into a caricature.

So, in other news, not pedal-related, yesterday I ordered my X-Mas gift (a bitchin' guitar - in transit now) and on the evening I got a call, so today I managed to sell my cheap Strat (which was in the local adds for quite some time).

I knew you guys would understand :applause:

Update.................

I have it!
Time to start fiddling with it. Report to follow....
But now i seriously need to stop for a while, in the last 3 months I've traded my voodoo labs power supplies for a Zuma then bought a Timeline, Ep Booster, Exotic Wah and the KoT.
So much win yet so much butt hurt in the wallet.:laugh2:

I say this as I'm checking out a Bigsky and a Disaster Area switcher. I have a problem, i blame you guys. :laugh2:

Hey, it was for a good cause: it was for THERAPY! Congrats, boy! What flavour of an amp is it...? British, Fendery, Voxy?

Think Low Powered Tweed Twin. It's a very warm fat sounding amp, a distinct departure from my bright blackface/silverface amps. When it gets its own gain, it's very thick and has an almost JTM45 thing going on.

It's running off of two 6L6s, which have long been my favorite tube type.
