Yup. We've all done it. Or had a bad day and flipped out or something.

I know one day in particular I really lost my sh*t. I made a point to apologize to the member though later. And honestly I still feel bad about it. I don't like getting ugly and losing my cool unless the person truly deserves it. Which in that case I don't think he did.

I'm not sure if you're referring to me, but I still regret the tussle we had a couple of months ago. It's okay to disagree, but in that instance I did so very disagreeably, and I'm sorry for it.

For me on the old system was that I limited certain things to those only on my friends list.
And when the member list went away, it was much easier to message them directly.

At one time a member got a burr under his saddle about a post or two I'd made and took to shitting up my visitor messages wall, including five ugly msgs in one night, so I restricted it to my friends-list and presto, problem solved.

The only usefulness I got out of the "friends" feature, but it sure came in handy.

Lord, this cracked me up.

Just reviewing this entire mess.


When faced with the absolutely do-able request of simply showing the front page of a local German paper, even a London paper (so he'd only be a half-liar), even with this woman who's obviously sitting in a chair in the hotel lobby, where he simply could have tossed the paper in her lap as he took the pictures..

..he fails. He could have had it all. He could have shamed us all as the "Puritan Witch-Hunters" he'd so love to make us out to be.

-If he was telling the truth.

-Which he wasn't.

I'm reminded with those two last sentences of mine, of the gas station scene in "No Country for Old Men", where the guy makes the old clerk flip a quarter unknowingly for his very life.

"Save that quarter. It is your lucky quarter".

So he keeps rolling it back to several photos of his messy hotel room, as if the slovenly bus-table mess is some sort of "qualifier".

Keeps rolling it back to him and that woman. As if we're all deeply interested in his bedroom affairs.

I made a remark in a couple of other threads that kevin paul was not banned.

He was, for a while. For his own damn good. But he's not banned now.

Yet I highly doubt we'll ever see him again.

What happens when you burn a bridge? -You have to cross a river or a freeway to get back. Choose your method; drowning or getting plowed flat.

And the geographical relationship between Glasgow and Edinburgh - in an hour and a half you can travel from Glasgow to Edinburgh from just £1.50 on a bus along the M8, a road which runs pretty much East/West. Unless stoned...
