I can appreciate your coming to KevinPaul's defence. I wish he could prove otherwise but I'll have to wait until the ban is lifted. In life and online there are people that perpetrate cons. They are called confidence (con) men because they gain confidence and then take something they wouldn't otherwise get. Snake oil salesmen in days of old. Look, it's as I said in a much earlier post: I am generally not the one to pull out the hatpin and go to bubble-popping just for the hell of it. If I come out with the dirt, there's a reason.

Even until just now, I didn't really put it all up front. But he's still pushing his luck, and now I'm irate for real.

In reality, Harmony and I-- and others we reported our findings to-- have been aware that the guy wasn't on the level for about two years, maybe more. We had him totally nailed shortly after the college strike thread, whenever that was.

And mind you: those we reported to could have done something with him, but did not see fit to do so either. It wasn't until he got raggedy with Pete that his troubles here began. Try to remember that.

And through all that time, the board at large never heard a peep out of either of us until now. And that is because it wasn't called for... then. So don't try and act like somebody is being unnecessarily mean to him here. If he had STFU about this stuff, and didn't blow up elsewhere, others still wouldn't have heard what there is to know about the guy.

I can tell you where, exactly, he lives. I don't do this. I don't want anything bad to happen to the guy IRL. But here, online? He got a boot up his ass for a very good reason.

We're not online to hurt people for no good reason, and the phantasms of others aren't really of major concern to either of us. We aren't "worried" about him, and popping him took only a few clicks and maybe a half-hour of investigative cooperation.

If you want to know why he's getting the treatment now, simply look to see where he has gone lately and what the results were.

And mind you: he's been sarcastic towards both of us-- and others-- on several occasions. He quickly learned to knock it off when it came to me, because I always came back at him instantly and cuttingly... but I never dropped the real payload on him until he got to slagging others so hard it was ridiculous-- meaning, in this very thread.

Meanwhile, Harms also knew he was dealing in baloney on a wholesale basis, but didn't actually wish to out him... though he also learned not to be too abusive towards her as well. So, nobody shanked him even though he had it coming all along. In reality, both of us felt sorry for the guy.

But he blew it.

As I said earlier: for all I know, his life really stinks. Maybe this site was an outlet. But, while venting, try hard not to barf on people who did nothing bad to you, or maybe they'll smack you around for it. Amazing how many people think that they're anonymous on these social web sites.

Look at the title of this thread, and where he went with it. He doesn't like Germans, eh? You know, I hosted two German foreign exchange students over the years. One of them, I loved as if he was my son. But oh: he doesn't like Germans-- all of them-- and now he has to lash out about it? Get abusive with moderators? Be a nasty, sarcastic loudmouth? He wouldn't last five seconds in the average dive bar, but here he's a badass?

He has attacked other friends of mine. He's also got that idiotic regionalism going, where he wants to slag the Southeastern US for crap that happened over 150 years ago and has long since been corrected. He's the all-wise arbiter of that which is good and decent-- but he wants to be down on innocent people who have done nothing to him? Meh.

This is the United States. We're supposed to hang together. But nooooo... everyone is a holy man, and has some big morality to peddle. They have a right to be an ass to others on account of their personal and total lack of moral turpitude?

It comes down to this: you keep running your big mouth and treating others badly, and sooner or later it's gonna pile up on you and somebody will hit back. It's nice to be nice, then-- like, really nice.

But nooooo... he was too smart to do that!

I no longer feel sorry for him, and I never thought he was all that clever to begin with.

And I don't care who figures they're too smart to ever be taken by some con artist. I still don't like the bastards anyway, and am liable to start messing with their act once I see that they're becoming abusive.

@Sp8ctre: Let's be perfectly CLEAR as to the reason he was banned. It wasn't for duping people yet one more time. And it wasn't for bad-mouthing German folk in general, however ugly, misguided, "nation-bigoted" and generalizing that might be. It was for his ugly, name-calling tirade he launched on a moderator here who had done nothing to him until he began bad-mouthing the nation and the people of which that moderator is of and from. And at that, all he did was expose the lie at the base of Kevin's baseless claims.
And if that weren't enough, he launched two more personal messages at that moderator which were worse than the first publicly-posted disrespecting rant. For which he received two additional months suspension over the original one.

So you can't believe that? Well, believe it. You launch a filthy tirade at a moderator, especially when you've already insulted him to the core, you get what's coming to you. I believe that paruwi showed remarkable restraint in his actions. I wouldn't have been so forgiving, as I would have perma'ed his ass.

But then again, I'm the "Real Nazi", right? Lol. I actually liked the guy. And I put up with his nonsense because it did no harm. -Until it did. And I wasn't the guy that banned him.

-Liked him until I found out what other crap he's pulled around here. And I've known he wasn't on the level for years.

It's all right here in this thread, starting on page one. Be certain to note that he also went off on the MLP membership. After he's spent years duping them into this fake sob story after that bragging lie into the other nasty, uncalled for comment and whatever would be next.

So make no mistake. He's the instrument of his own failures to get along here. He was banned for ONE reason, and he had a three-way choice to make; either come clean with it and apologize, not throw down on the moderator for telling the truth, or simply excuse himself and exit the thread. And let's not forget what the thread was about or the premise of it.

We don't tolerate such ugliness towards an innocent people like that. Lots of folks here are from Germany. Many from the Netherlands. Many from France, Spain, Britain, Ireland, Russia, etc etc etc. I would expect the same defense of such folk from people like Kevin via the good folks here and also the moderating staff, myself included.
