I was wondering if anyone of you fine gentlemen would be willing to help me out. Is there anyone here that has a Shank and would be willing to put a profile gauge on it on the 1st and 12th fret, photograph it and send me the pics. I´d really like to use this profile on a guitar I´m planning on building. Thank you.

It's not the measurement that makes the Shanks neck unique. It's the lack of shoulders that makes it feel the way it does.

There seems to be little to no shoulders on the higher register of the neck.

I'm kinda thinking my TH8 has the Shanks neck. it's basically the .9 and 1.000 but with a shallow shoulder. The shape just naturally throws my thumb over the top and easy to clamp down on the low E. Easily my favorite neck ever.

Thank you very much Sct13. I assume the one to the right is the 12th fret.
