30%. that's exorbitant. However, if it ends up being a net sum of USD300++; it's still bearable (as long as your purchase is a couple of grand).
In the US, when the paperwork are done correctly (by the sellers); tax is no applicable for US made guitars.
Is there a big fan base for american made guitars in the China? I don't recall seeing any instrument stores when i was in China, then again... i've only been to Shenzhen, Taiyuan and Beijing.
I bet Rudi is hiding a Burst somewhere in the outback.![]()
Congratulations on that wonderful guitar L96A1 !
I spoke to Rudi many years ago about the quantum
shift in the guitar market when the Far East became
aware of the important part that western instruments
played in world culture. Although I was a few years
off in my timing, I believe we are seeing this starting
to happen now. The next few years should be
outstanding for someone with Rudi's insight.
Thanks for the info.
As Im in Beijing, I know there is an old bell tower, which is a symbol of old Beijing, and it becomes a concentration of music stores.
China still has a long way to go regarding the knowledge of fine instrument, but as we got so so many people, the market has potential I assume.
Congrats on a super nice Les Paul. I also have purchased from Rudi in the past. He's a great guy and easy to deal with. Can't go wrong.
Killer Score - Congrats on a killer R9
I've played this guitar before & Rudi is great to deal (He just sold me a beautiful R9 which looks very similar to yours)
Are we expecting your number 2 to arrive soon?![]()
