Okay boys... here it is. Sorry for the crappy cell pics. I've been super busy with a home project, and I barely had time to unpack her and give her a quick spin.

Friggin' awesome hunk of wood! By this time tomorrow night, she'll be sporting double cremes. Stay tuned. I'll post the update pics in this thread.

Cheers!

Double creams (Super Distortion & 36th) are going in tonight... along with a set of Historic tall rings. I'll take some much better pictures after the install.

Few notes: I'm a sucker for Plaintops (duh!) and I'm loving the top on this one. It's almost impossible to see the center joint, so it looks like a one-piece top from most angles. Fit & finish is legit, right down to a proper neck angle. Of course it has standard electronics, so none of that PCB stuff. Even though it spec'ed out at 10.2 pounds, it doesn't feel like it.

I'm tossing in a set of real NOS Spargue Orange Drops (strictly for looks), because those ceramic disc caps look a little silly in there. Also have a set of the new Kluson Revolution tuners (with keystone/tulip buttons) on the way... they're awesome tuners at 19:1 and I don't really vibe with the green button Gibson Deluxe units. Already swapped out the TRC for a Historic.

Other than that, what's not to love?!?

Not meaning to hijack your special day, but speaking of hard to tell the center joint, check out this one I'm trying to talk myself out of buying.

Awesome! Congrats and HNGD!!!!!! I put double creams DiMarzios (full 36th set, though I do LOVE the SD as well) in my 2016 Trad T with tall rings. I also put a pickguard from a 2014 Peace model on it. The Peace has the same pickguard as my 2014 Trad which is a better match color-wise and it doesn't have the beveled edge. A great look.

Dude, it's freekin awesome, congrats!.

And I think the de-minimis seam is something they are paying attention to lately. Here is my 2016 (sorry for being lame and using the Sweetwater pic) and I had thought for a hot second there wasn't a seam but it is there:
