Simo album 'Let Love Show The Way - premiere | Music | Culture | The Independent

The new SIMO record is streaming now, a week before release. This is a great album. He also played Duane's '57 Goldtop for the whole thing. It'd be nice to be so connected that someone would lend you that kind of gear . . .

EDIT: This album rips, btw. I'll be grabbing it when it comes out, for sure. Incredible stuff.

I'd love to see him live, but there are no upcoming tour dates near Chicago. I'll have to wait. This new album is incredible, though. So, I guess I can be satisfied with that for now.

That's cool. Only listened to the first track but it's very good. I like how it's recorded. JD's solos sound more "live". It's got a cool energy to it. And Duane's Gold top sounds righteous. It must be a great feeling being trusted with that kind of gear.

Looks like he's touring the South and then heading to Europe. It'd be nice to get a tour of the upper Midwest, as I'd love to see this stuff live.

BTW, I see that you are in or by Chicago, JD just announced a show at the Double Door on March 28.
