the 1959SLP is my best bet at the moment unless MLP can convince me otherwise.
I own several 100 watters but the 1959SLP is by far my favorite.

The Marshall 100 watt SLP is the baddest boy on the block !!!!! I own one and love it, it pumps out more raw Marshall tone than you can stand, breaks up at around three on the volume, pumped through a Paul its "that tone", I like the 4/12 AX ( 100 watt , 4/24 watt green backs). superior classic tone. I use a very high end attenuator to control the beast, however check out David Bray Amps, he sells brand new modded SLPS as a great option for volume control. As always this is Just My Opinion
I would like one with G12H greenbacks like Hendrix used
Unfortunately they cost $219 a peice
the bass resonance is down to 55hz so you get that great
Chunka chunka sound out or them
The 75Hz will get you in the ballpark already. I never had any complaints on them when i did the Hendrix tribute band. To quote an englishman who (saw Jimi play back in the days) attended one of my gigs: "it`s been a long time since i`ve heard these tones, you`ve really nailed it".
There's the new Kerry King JCM 800......I'm not a huge fan of slayer but from the review in guitar world it sounds like an awesome amp....
I have acutaly never heard the original G12H Greenbacks
but it sounded good, most Marshalls could use just a little
more bottom, but then again the low end "Formulates" out a few
feet with the regular G12M's.
