Anyone wanna sell their afd yet? I'm looking for one and dont wanna cop out buying one of them lame standards with slash logo on masquerading as a real slash guitar.

In all honesty think I'd prefer vos version there's something about ageing I don't like always wonder which dings are supposed to be there and which aren't.

There's a slash aged 2008 on eBay at moment. Think it was £4500

Theres a joker on uk eBay who is selling a slash Gibson usa afd with poor flame on one side it's one of the mass produced afd guitars he wants £3000 lol I think he needs to stop smoking drugs I've seen them sell for £1500. Also there's a guy on American eBay selling same but with decent flame for $6500 another first class tool

Yeah thats funny. Afd USA is a really great axe and i like to Play it but the real Deal is the Afd VOS there's a huge difference when you have played the Vos or aged!
Imo this is one of the best guitars ever made!!
The neck, sound, playablety and the look is just perfect for me.
I can even better play when iam giging with the vos.
The aged & signed is the same axe but something more for Hardcore collectors.

Tell you what's worst thing ever.... Them people on YouTube who post videos saying slash tone samples so you click on link to see someone playing cheap vintage afd guitar that's not a slash tone. Lol

Full boost I have now bought a usa one that's signed by slash because top was so nice and couldn't afford vos but during my search I have located a vos one and a aged signed one do you already have the vos and want a aged signed one? What's top amount you'd pay for vos or aged signed? I'm thinking about buying to sell on as I can't afford to keep one but seem so rare good to find and pass on.

Wow, some cool guitars here! BTW, I won some SD Slash prototype pickups in a contest (as used by him). Looking for the right guitar for them. I think I have a lot of ideas now.

Currently have an A/S AFD the one in my Avatar..I agree my AFD is an amazing LP. Closest to a Burst i'll ever own. However, the VOS and A/S are from the being same guitar.

It is the 100th VOS. Gibson does not continue the same kind of serial number after the signed ones are done. Each run has its own format.
