So, I decided to put the new Electric City Pickups Hallowed Ground set in my R8, but, I just couldn't bring myself to swap out the WCR Darkbursts that I have in it now... They're just too perfect for that guitar.
What an excuse to get a new LP!
I gave Pimp-In-Chief, Ray from Grinning Elk a call, and he helped me out. That sweet talker told me he had a well played, 2003 R7, with a Brazilian board!
I couldn't resist...

Ray was MORE than accommodating with me, I thought I was going to need the guitar by tomorrow, so Ray made sure to have it shipped in time (it actually arrived yesterday).
Like all customers of Grinning Elk, packed with the guitar was an Elk Nation tee shirt, and a thank you card with a great hand written note in it.
The guitar plays like a dream, the fretboard is nice and dark, like chocolate...
I have to say, when it comes to customer service, the Elk Boys put it first. We had great communication, Ray answered all my questions about the guitar, and when it arrived, he was dead on in his descriptions.
Talk about a great experience! Many thanks to Ray and Lee! Once you become a part of the Elk Nation, there's no turning back!
More pics to come...
