i see quite a dark (?repair) line going down the bass side of the 'volute' - do you see what I mean?

It might be a good value for someone who can assess the repair in person,
but quite a gamble for overseas purchasers, I would think.

looks more like a solid top for me. too unregular for a veneer.
also i think you can see some slight hint of the flaming in the cavity.
didnt the ls100 come with dimarzio pus?

this looks more like a refretted ls80 .

LS-80's were never offered in that "unburst" color or with that much figuring in 1981.

Volute looks decent however.
Huge heel and it looks to have been well played and loved.

1981 so probably doesn't have a stamp
my money is on LS100 with neck repair which the description seems to suggest. that top is solid and the finish is like Reborn Old's 100 - 'unburst'
Has had a refret at some point and is a bit weight at 4.4kg and pricey for my tastes.

I asked Tak and he confirmed it doesn't have a stamp. It's a 2 piece flame maple top and nitro according to him.

Dimarzio PAF creme pair found on 1980-85 Tokai LS-100 => LS-200 models.
Greco 1000 examples woulld have had black bobbins, metal covers and those Dimarzio decals on covers.
A very reasonable US price for a matched pair that usually measure 7.25 to 7.5 k ohms.
Not to be confused with later 80's examples that had model # engraved at plate base below Dimarzio name.
Poles look a bit rusted but otherwise good cond. I have no idea what international shipping would be.
No affiliation to the seller, who is unknown to me.

That Bacchus was on sale in the classifieds here for a while. Guess it never sold. Tempting, or it would be if I weren't in the midst of attempting to buy a house.

It's a good thing I already have a nice bunch of guitars, because I won't be buying any more gear for a long time.
