Momentum Machines | The Next Industrial Revolution
Fast food doesn’t have to have a negative connotation anymore. With our technology, a restaurant can offer gourmet quality burgers at fast food prices.

Our alpha machine frees up all of the hamburger line cooks in a restaurant. It does everything employees can do except better:

It slices toppings like tomatoes and pickles immediately before it places the slice onto your burger, giving you the freshest burger possible.

Our next revision will offer custom meat grinds for every single customer. Want a patty with 1/3 pork and 2/3 bison ground to order? No problem.

Also, our next revision will use gourmet cooking techniques never before used in a fast food restaurant, giving the patty the perfect char but keeping in all the juices.

It’s more consistent, more sanitary, and can produce ~360 hamburgers per hour.

The labor savings allow a restaurant to spend approximately twice as much on high quality ingredients and the gourmet cooking techniques make the ingredients taste that much better.

Robo Burger doesn't come to work stoned, drunk or hung over, it won't spit on your food or cook it wrong, it won't threaten to form a union or seek a "living wage", it doesn't require vacations, health insurance, unemployment insurance or training.

Coupled with an automated order entry device, it removes the low skilled employees from the food chain.

Now what?

So then I assume that you consume NOTHING created from an automated manufacturing process.

No different than robots that make cars and electronics, or getting a movie from Redbox instead of (and I'm going way back here) Blockbuster. It was a thing kids.

Great! The only fast food joint that does not need this technology is Chick-Fil-A because they are so damn good and friendly!

The end of civilization is upon us and I welcome it with open arms. We have been poor stewards of the planet. Everybody dies eventually and it doesn't matter what is the balance of your checking account. Oh, and yes... I want fries with that.

Now what? Jobs in design/programming/manufacturing/maintenance/repair. And mom n pop shops contracting/subcontracting to make the parts and assemblies.

Yeah, but that like...takes motivation, man.
