I'm considering changing the electronics in the 335. I stumbled across a site called Mojo Musical Supply that sells complete prewired electronic assemblies that include the following:

# (4) Potentiometers- 500K Mojotone CTS Short Shaft
# (1) Switch- Switchcraft Straight-type 3-way Toggle
# (1) Jack- Switchcraft L11 1/4" mono input jack extra long
# Wire- Black 22 Ga. Stranded Cloth Covered
# Wire- White 22 Ga. Stranded Cloth Covered
# (2) Capacitor- Mojo Vitamin T .022uf @ 630v
# (2) Volume Mod (RESISTOR ONLY)

I'm totally unfamiliar to what capacitors and there ratings mean/do. Anyone recommend this setup, or have any other recommends???

:dude:Got a Seymour Duncan Jazz in the neck and a Pearly Gates in the bridge, I use the guitar for bluesy stuff and hard rock

Thanks for any insight!

Have you checked out RSGuitarWorks?
Specifically, their pre-wired kits.

GuitarElectronics.com has some great information.
I think this will help.

Oh and, IMO, the volume mod works best with a capacitor and a resistor. This helps "de-mud" your tone as you roll the volume back.

I have that same pickup setup in my Carvin SH225 with coil-tap and phase switching and it rocks.

Good luck.
