"Over The Pond Guy" PAFs

Got the OTP PAFs in this weekend. I haven't been able to upload due some stupid problem with my domain host. Anyway, they look real, I cannot tell any place on this pickup that doesn't look accurate. For all I know this could be the real thing.

I just have two pics now in the R8. I had Luxe Bees in her already, so I swapped out the pups and put in a matched set of CTS pots and wired the Luxe Bees back in 50s style. It sounds amazing. Clear as a bell if you want or growling like a beast. Very sensitive to volume and tone and the tonal range of this set seems to be quite large, you can easily get very different tones by rolling of first volume then experiment with tone settings. The neck pickup sounds great, that soulful blues burst tone is there, flip to the middle and you've got a very nice tone, easily to pull some Zeppelin tones in the middle position. I like to roll back the neck volume to about 6 and have my bridge about 9 and play with the tone on both and add a little reverb and gain and you're in heaven man.

I want to get a mp3 or something but I'm very busy these days and don't have a lot of free time, seem to be on the road all the time lately. I may even get a video. I'm planning a head to head with my stock 03 R9.

There are two outlets for the rings , But I'm the exclusive distributor of the pickups !!!

That's excellent news Bobbo. Hopefully it will mean a few more people get to enjoy these amazing pickups. Got a feeling the waiting list could get very long very quickly.

I'm in the process of trying to get some YouTube video demos done by a player who can do these pickups some justice !!! and OTPG is working on the audio clips from what he tells me . I'm hoping between the two of us we can get something up in the near future !!!

I think OTPG has the guy with the red hair doing his clips !!!​
