Kirk Hammett has one of those, only other place I have seen a '59 RI like that. But his has gold hardware and a flame top. Pretty sure they are made every now and then. I like Kirk's better than this one.

never liked quilt tops. The black doesn't do it for me either. I'd rather have a shiny solid black beauty. And I'd like to see a vintage burst with that kind of top too.
