The G&P thing....that's funny. Glad that he has a sense of humor about it even though he isn't here anymore. :D

I was thinking it was KISS - the band. Sign him up as a guitarist and have him play the drums maybe.

I doubt it will happen. If KISS was smart they would offer him extra time off for missionary work and matching funds for his charity donations. He may have went for something like that?

I'm beginning to wonder about this.

Running backs in the AFL are a thing of mystery. The season record for rushing yards is 300 and that's only recently done.

Running QB's like Raymond Philyaw are a nice weapon to have in the AFL, but you have to be able to thread the needle. I think it's harder to play in the AFL than the NFL, but that's my layman's opinion.

The game is much faster and you have the same amount of reads.

Anybody else think Tebow would fail?

He has already turned down CFL and Rugby teams.

and why is this important?

Gene Simmons is attempting to sell LA Kiss merchandise by using Tim Tebow's followers.

I have chosen to follow the LA Kiss as my AFL team and I hope to god he doesn't sign with us.

I like G&P and believe he does have a good sense of humor on this topic. Otherwise I would not have made the reference.

While I'm not a fan the dude seems to be successful at nearly everything he does. He did well at Denver and won a playoff game. He just wins in non-traditinal form. He did phenomenol in college.

I would have to see him actually fail before I could start to doubt him.

Winning a playoff game is a team game is not success.

In the NFL he cannot hold down a back up job...he's a college QB and a great one there.

Being cut from 3 teams is not success.

I think it's time Tebow realizes that he's just not good enough to play in the NFL. When your old QB coach says it's time for you to re-think you're career options, well...

Several weeks ago Ron Jaworski, who owns an AFL team made a similar offer to Tebow. He said he thought the pace of the game would help improve his speed, etc. TT said no, as he has with any and all other offers that weren't NFL QB.

And the conspiracy theorists are already saying the only reason NE signed him was so "Belacheat" could pick his brain for the Jets playbook, and never had any intention of keeping him on the team.

What black helicopter? :laugh2:

Dude keeps winning. Sorry, he hasn't given me any reasons to doubt him. If he lost games (team game or not, the quarterback certainly has the most to do with winning or losing) that would be one thing. He won more often than lost and considering it was his first year of actually playing, that's pretty good.

Fine if you don't like him, but I anyone with an open mind really has no reason to doubt him.

As far as winning a playoff game not being a success tell that to a Browns fan. If they won a playoff game the city would be partying for months.

I like Tebow, I hope he takes them up on the offer and has a blast playing football.

Dude keeps winning.

Dude hasn't played in a season and change. When last spotted, he was on a team with a ferocious defense, mitigating his inability to score double-digits in regulation. He "won" a game in which he had about 7 pass attempts. If Dallas' Marion Barber didn't forget how to play football, there was no playoff game.

He's a good guy, I have no problem with him, but he is not, and probably never will be, a NFL quarterback.
