Hey guys, just wondered if anyone had a rough idea on value of a 2005 classic? Looking at one in used but very good condition. They want £1500 but that seems steep to me. Any thoughts?

Plain tops I have seen them as cheap as $1200.. The flamed tops will come around $1400 to $2200...

In the UK? £1200 would be top price. Coda Music sold a nice R8 last week for £1800.

I've seen a wide range of pricing, this is pretty accurate in the US.

I think there is some confusion here. Are you talking about an R0/GO or are you talking about a 1960 Classic? Hearing some of the prices people are saying, I think they're talking about re-issues.

Sorry for the confusion. I believe it's a 1960's Classic, not an R0! The ad for it is a little confusing so I'm asking for a little clarification. It does say it comes with the original ceramic pickups though which suggests the classic. If so then £1500 is a lot to be asking I think.

Yep, had it clarified and it's a classic. Seem to recall I paid £1100 for my classic in 2003 so I'd have thought £1000 would be closer to right sort of price?
