Yes!.. Years ago at some party. It took about a half inch chunk of wood out of the back of the headstock. It was fine other than that. :laugh2::laugh2:

Nope, no ceiling fans where I jam.. But I did almost hit the ceiling when I was jamming & tried to be cool by holding up my guitar ala Steve Clark:laugh2:

I hit the head off my old ceiling fan once. I actually mean my own head, not my guitar's head. Needless to say, it left a mark too!

That's how it happened to me! :laugh2::laugh2:

I guess I'm not the only one who tries to be cool while playing:laugh2:

I was practicing for a band I was auditioning for thats been gigging for a while, so if I made it in the band I didn't want to just stand there like a jack off if I played a show with em:laugh2:

I know the Steve Clark move, but I was doing a Jimmy Page when mine went through the fan. :laugh2::laugh2:

It wasn't a guitar, but I was lifting the gigbag-like case off the top of my upright bass and my ceiling fan was on and it smacked the case. It scared the crap out of me, but I always remember to be careful with instruments if the fan is on.
