:laugh2::laugh2: Lovely guitar GuitraDean :dude:... Not quite sure about the pasta maker though..
They just seem to be a lot of hardwear for what they actually do..
Hey! I should love them as I come from that era, but I have never used whammy bars.... I even bolt them down on my Strat's too..

Got to think 'Neil Young' Phil, more than just a wobble at the end of a rockabilly tune. Blissful out of tune mayhem throughout. :laugh2:

A Bigsby on a LP is the most horrid thing ever. Nothing looks nastier than that mouse trap looking thing messing up a perfectly good guitar. They dont even work that well. Well, they do if installed with the right stuff and attention is paid to the saddles and nut but, the effect aint enough to be worth having that mouse trap on a guitar.

Now, on a big hollowbody they look OK but, not on a solid body.

Bigsbys on Les Pauls are freakin' BEAUTIFUL!!!!

I love Bigsbys on LPs. Yes, they are reminiscent of wringer washing machines and bread slicers, but hey, LPs are not exactly of ultra-modern design either. I agree they look best on Black Beauties (or my yellow Jr.:)) with finish-coordinated hardware, but it ain't all about looks either. I love the effects, and mine stays in, and returns to, tune just fine with graphite saddles and a well-cut, graphite-lubed nut.

Yep. Just about a quarter- to a half-tone is all they are good for, but nothing does it with more fluidity and grace!

Les Paul uses one!

If it's good for the master ( LP ), Keith, Clapton, Gilmour and Page, than it's good enough for me
