It's an Echorec.

I suppose that's the second point: I have no particular ties or romantic notions about the Echorec. It's a tape delay, a sound that has its uses. But if it doesn't have tap tempo it's not very useful to me.

It's not a tape delay. I don't have a use for it either, but it sounds cool on old Pink Floyd tunes and elsewhere.

i'll never sell the el capistan. The echorec is to fulfill my pink Floyd fantasies and have two delay pedals for a while. It may not survive the cut, who knows...

I'm sure it sounds nice but if a delay pedal doesn't have tap tempo I'm just not interested. That's just how I roll.

honestly, that's the only thing that made me hesitate. as it is, i guess it can be my multi head delay sound and i'll just set it where i like it. i'm usually somewhere around the 350ish ms point anyway

I have made it safely to Florida!!! Pedal shopping will take place on Monday. Not going to go to GC tomorrow. :laugh2:
