Blimey Terry, as good as I've seen I reckon...

Are the volume/tone knobs Fatboy or VC?

Similarly, bridge and tailpiece. Where do you buy parts that look so perfect?

All look much too good!

The finishes have come out amazingly well. I am truly impressed. When do they ship out? I need an excuse to pass throught the Midlands...

Just to show that the guitar does have binding nibs but , as on original Bursts , they are small and less obvious than Newer Gibsons and most other replicas. It also has pigment ''bleed'' into the bindings.

I keep finding myself going back to look at this. It's the stuff dreams are made of. Wish I could hold one in my hands and pretend I'm Koss:hmm:

Amazing work, simply stunning. Obviously someone is building top notch replicas, but how in hell would I get hold of one? Do I need to know the secret handshake or something? Is the builder in the UK - this is my burning question as I am a brit myself, does the guy do re-fin's for example?

Inquiring minds would like to know - feel free to PM me if anyone wants things kept low key/offline! Thanks. :)

The Man from Italy arrived today, had the choice of the two guitars ,this is the one he chose.I found it difficult to choose between the two and I know he did also.

ItalianJob054.jpg

I just wanted to say a big thank you for the guitar, it was impossible to choose between the two, but I had to pick one.
I played one to these replicas 18 months ago so I knew how good they were, ( In fact the guy who owns it prefers it to his original 57 gold top!!!) but I was totally taken back by how resonant, dynamic, and playable they both were.I think they are probably two of the best guitars I've ever played in my life, and I've played and own a few including a 1963 Gibson 335.
Once again a massive thank you, I'm a very happy man. Single Cut 54 your friend is a genius and star. Cheers :):):)

BTW Thanks for the mince pies and tea

Stumble,
it seemed an impossible task to chose one. They sounded and played almost identicle. The man who made these guitars is a genius. I'm hoping Tweaty might let me gig it on Friday night!! If he does, we'll try and get some pictures posted here
