Is this fake? Definitely looks it to me, although it's a Korean '98 so I could be wrong. The knobs look off and the switch looks way off. The horn looks sharper than on my Epi. Epiphone Gibson Les Paul For Sale in Castlebar, Mayo. Buy Electric Guitars
guys,is the epiphone les paul standard trans blue still been produced today?
Sweetwater says no.
They didn't make them in that color, unless it was refinished? Plus, it's really hard to tell from that pic.
See post above....
Only explanation would be - it could be a special run for a dealer.....
But the headstock and the parts, bridge etc are REAL? (IGNORING THE COLOR)
If the parts are real its real but with an odd color.
I just bought this on ebay. Hasn't shipped yet so I figured I should find out if it's real or not. Supposed to be a 93 Korean LP custom, and the SN matches up. Don't have a picture of the side of the headstock. So, real or fake?

Shouldn't the serial be without the '9'
I'm not an expert. I just used the online serial dater project thing and it matched up. It followed the format of a 94 Korean LP custom that was also for sale on ebay, unless they are both fakes...
So because of the serial, are you leaning towards fake?
Edit: Found another 93 LP and it followed the same format... Maybe they changed from 93 to 94?
