For fans of the books/comics I see three very exciting things I've been waiting for through the first 2 tv seasons.

This show is nothing more than a soap opera with the occasional lame-o zombie violence. I thought this show was going to be killer, but there's way too much drama. I'll watch Mad Men for drama, not a post apocalyptic zombie show.

Loved S1. S2 was good too, but I don't think it reached the same heights. And the whole mid-season break rubbed me the wrong way too.

it's following the books then. Which is a dramatic series.



It's a story about people, not zombies. There's more then enough brain-eating zombie movies that've been made already.

I never heard of it until last month(not big on comics or tv series), but I watched the first 2 episodes in the run of a week or so. I'm waiting for Season 3....

I'm looking forward to it.

And I've rather enjoyed the drama and psychological struggle of the characters as they try to balance between surviving and holding onto their empathy and humanity. There are enough movies and shows about killing zombies. I'm enjoying the palate cleanser.

Then again, neither did Breaking Bad, until I watched the first episode on Netflix last month and went on a week long bender watching all four seasons... Killer show. A friend at work really recommended Walking Dead, and it's AMC... Season 1 is on Netlix, Think I'm just gonna have to check it out...

I remember when the show premiered like two years ago on Halloween, but I was on a Halloween/Michael Myers marathon I think, so I was like, meh...

But somehow I like this series....

But somehow I like this series....

Kinda my take on it... If the flick is done right, I love it, If not it's boring... I really liked the Dawn of the Dead with John Leguizamo in it, that, to me was the most action packed zombie flick I've seen... Zombieland was cool too, and Shaun of the Dead... funny.

I'm more into Witches, Vampires and Werewolves to tell you the truth...

To be honest though, I haven't seen a good Horror flick come out in years, with the exception of the awesome remake of "Fright Night"... they just don't make em' like they used to...

But I'll agree, the whole impending "Zombie Apocalypse" crap is getting a little old...

If that's what you're saying...

But, seems like a cool show... I will have a look see...
