Very sharp BW!
I am thinking of going with a thin body on my next build, too.
How's the balance on the strap? I guess due to the long horn and the maple there are no problems?

Balance is very near perfect. With a 6-string setup it would be absolutely perfect.

and i thought they looked great hanging up side down and naked. they both are killers, but that burst looks like it's giving off heat. superbly done, as usual.

Sweet guitars DGN, love the simplicity of the headstock and obvious killer finishing on both. Great job. I have to make up a jar for about 5 or 6 builders on here, if not more, and put money in them so I can buy one of each! I am one lottery win away from a deadly stable of guitars! :thumb::thumb:

Cheers Peter.

Almost done. Still waiting for a 5-pole pickup for the mando-neck...the dogear is just there for the photo.

Heres one I did. Borrowed the model name from my favourite fishing rod :). Wanted to make a light mahogany bodied melody maker type guitar.

Ah ah, I was waiting for this question :)
It seems that I didn't check the angle when I drilled the hole from the brigde pickup to the bridge...

:laugh2:

I filled it with a walnut pastil with a fretboard MOP dot in the center
Now that she has her spot I named her the Marquise :thumb:

No worries, good save.

Hey, the first month I opened up a shop, I did the same to a client's guitar...........In front of him!:wow:

I routed for a middle pickup in his tele and got the angle wrong for the drilling.
Same thing.....right through,

He was a rock star, I thought my career was over.

Turned out he didn't care, I doweled the hole and sanded it.............
He said it was fine, he was just going to play the effin" thing, not look at the back all night long....................Wheew! I got lucky!!

Thanks, I refer to it as my Gibson Stratocaster since it turned out somewhat of a crossover between the two. :)
