There is no ObG's with sticker, only Terada plain Orvilles...or maybe you have seen one? I haven't yet:)

Yes those with sticker are considered infferior. They usually have multiple back and top pieces and no long tenon neck.

I think most MIJ guitars have 2-3 pieces back. Not only K serial.

I know some people are looking for a Fuji ObG custom. This place ships internationally.

Never seen an ObG, with original finish, without a serial, all the terada ObGs were ink stamped from when they started production in 1988. Guess it may have been removed/refinished. The juniors headstock is just painted/decal so might be worth sticking up some pics if you have any as a few people have them for comparison.

Realistically they're shouldn't be any major differences in build quality between the terada Orville and Orville by Gibson juniors. Main difference was just the ObG's had better hardware 'nitro' thin finish , Gibson pups etc other than that the better looking tops and long tenon joints went on the ObG's.

Nice one, that was a decent price for a 57B.

I reckon you'd be better off buying a guitar with a case, the shipping would make it far too expensive on it's own. Plus any case would likely come with a reissue, wouldn't inflate the price too much and probably be able to flip the guitar for the same price without a case.

Thanks! The Guitar arrived safe & sound just two days after payment and apart from a couple of very minor dings it's in superb condition.

I'll get some pix up here soon.

Thanks to Wulfman for pointing me in the right direction. :thumb:

What's going on down there between the end pin and the jack? Looks like the top is melting away :)
