Thanks James,

I dont understand Japaneese do you know what spec the guitar is by any chance? I've read on here and other forums in the last day or so that they had cheaper hardware and electronics than other models but what spec is the build? Are they gibson spec bodies and necks etc? If they are good wood then I would consider buying it and modding it up. Thanks again

Those Burny's are a medium spec guitar. The are solid mahogany bodies (2-4 piece backs in most cases, some higher models had 1 piece) and two piece maple plain tops. The hardware and wiring is OK, not top notch but good to mod. A lot of them had chunkier necks and the wood used was of a very decent grade. They were a step above some of the trash that Greco was tossing out in '76, that is for sure.

148,000 Yen divided by 81 Yen to the dollar: $1,827 plus associated fees to get it sent from Japan.

Villager buys em at that price all day long. 82-83 RLG-150's are very good, damn sight better than a trad-pro or Standard. Pretty damn rare.

I had a Burny Goldtop with those exactly pickups. Black leads and a serial stamped.
