A copy, dont buy it. Bridge is too far down the body, probably plays like crap. EE too large and pickguard screw wrong place. And NOT Korean.

Yeah they are both fake. You need to contact them both, and demand a full refund, which includes shipping. Tell them if they want the guitar shipped back they will also pay for retun shipping since it is their responsibility to know if their guitars are fake. If they don't want them feel free to have a bonfire.

I'm kinda worried that MY guitar is fake...I see lots of pics and maybe I'm just paranoid but its knobs seem incredibly low compared to other pics I've seen. Everything else seems fine though...

Looking to the pics in this BRAND NEW EPIPHONE LES PAUL CUSTOM PLUS!! FLAME TOP!!!! - eBay (item 160266647079 end time Aug-05-08 07:58:00 PDT) how can you determine that is a fake guitar? I compare to another I bought from guitar center and the supposed fake one is better looking and high finished than the real one.

I also took the guitar to a great guitar tech here and He said that for the price I paid the wood quality is very nice and the pieces (tuner/pickups/toggle switch) aren't fake. The sound seems very nice (fat tone and great sustain).

If it is really fake, I'd like to understand how could the counterfeiters produce it with a reasonably quality at all.

when i look at some studio the knobs seem to be low as well... but not that low !

They buy them directly from Gibson. I am pretty sure they wouldn't see fakes... I trust eBay, just not the people on it. And you can avoid them with a good eye.
