So, gurus...

I've got an opportunity to trade for a Burny 335, supposedly from 1982.
What's the ballpark value of a thing like that?
Also, is there a way to get a general idea of year without looking in pup cavities?
(no, no images, yet at least)

Considering not being able to see much a good chance of identifying, and this is just my observation via owning and noticing differences, late vs early 80's Burny's is the headstock shape.
I have found all the later 80's I have seen and owned have more pronounced horns and a mellower open book hump and have a slightly longer profile.
The earlier 80's had the opposite and this holds true for the early 80's I have owned and seen.
Might help a bit perhaps?

The left is my 82 and the right was my 87 RLG-70

Hey Ohjay ,If its an early Burny I have no doubt you'll be happy, great guitars like the Aria's.

Out of 16 guitars my favourite 7 would be 2 Burny, 2 Aria proll, 2 greco and 1 other. The funny thing is I only own 3 Burny and 2 Arias.
So the odds are pretty good.:thumb:

Probably, If the solder isn't broken. Looks alot like those Gibson tarback pickups that came out in the 70's. My FLG90 L8001's have T-top looking bobbins but, there not exactly.
