Ok, guys, I know I'd said I wouldn't mind a fake Slash guitar, but I believe I'm actually gonna save up and get a real one. So I don't have trouble with people buying/selling fakes. That's all up to them. What I DO mind is people trying to pawn fakes off as the real thing! This thing is shown as broken, but if you look at the knobs, if it was a real Epi, they'd be silver topped, plus, I don't think the top looks right. Not to mention the pickups are wrong. I think all that styrofoam is from how China shipped it to him! :laugh2: I've read plenty of horror stories about guys getting Chinese guitars and the necks being bowed/broken, and that seems to be what happened here! :wow: What do you guys think? He says it comes with the COA and all that, but these pictures look suspect.

I'll call fake on that.

1) Some poor chinglish in the listing: "item cannot be return"

2) new eBay account with no feedback

3) the tuners are wrong. Slash epis have the kluson style tuners, not the regular les Paul standard ones.

4) the pics aren't too great, but I can't make out any slash logo on the headstock

This seller really outdid themselves, not only is it a fake POS, it's a broken fake POS!

If you want that style guitar for cheap, check out the Vintage V100 AFD Paradise model. Shameless copy for sure, but vintage guitars are pretty amazing for the price

Black Bobbins on pups should be on bridge side of the guitar. Definite +1 on tuners, no greenish tinted plastic keys, and something not quite right about the knobs. Also color of mahogany finish on the back looks slightly off.

I thought that the Slash models were supposed to be long tenon, not short and offset tenon necks.

I know I'm off topic here...

But did anyone else notice the KISS font on a (fake as hell) "Slash" guitar?

Sorry...Made me laugh.

I like how he says "reverse zebra bridge pickup" when it's clearly not...

The back of the real thing has black covers, not the cheesy cream colored ones.

I can't believe Ebay is letting this go.

I've reported it to them. I wish I would have sent it to Gibson, over 300 with only a few hours to go. Sorry for the buyer.
