Returned or slightly damaged items that are closer to what you should be paying for a new, undamaged item if you shopped elsewhere.

I wonder if those are factory seconds? If so then they will be stamped on the back of the headstock and are worth much less money on the open market but I have seen some factory second Gibsons that we couldn't tell what was wrong to make it a 2nd but still they will have some form of stamp indicating it is not 1st quality even if you can't see it.

You may want to call MF or GC and ask specifically if these are factory seconds or not.

best buy sells pauls? where?

right now they are testing it in certain markets, namely here in suburban DC (fairfax). A friend of mine is a manager at one of the best buys that are doing it. However, I was unaware they were selling gibsons. I was told they were only selling epis and low end fenders.

As I mentioned in another thread, I picked up a Studio from them on Friday. They honored a 12% off coupon I had, so I got a great price on it. The store I bought it from was in Murrieta, CA. They don't have a huge selection, but they had a variety of Gibson and Epi Les Pauls, some SGs, Parkers and a full range of Strats from MIM to American Deluxe.

I thought Gibsons didn't do factory seconds? Anyways, since it says it's a "scrath and dent" it simply means that the guitar will have some scratches, dings, etc.

Gibson discontinued the factory second a long time ago.

Everything else has been said ;)
