Your guitars look great, I don't know how I missed this thread before. Great job, I'm excited to see how the Green Hornet turns out!

While the neck is out getting it's inlay I put my pattern neck into the pocket jig and set up to rout out the neck pocket and drill for the toggle switch and pots along with the pickup cavity...This guitar is pretty special so I'm trying to keep the top clean looking. I'll be installing a T-style Modern Joe Barden in the bridge and a JB humbucker in the neck...

Just before routing for the binding...I'll be going with a Candy Apple Red finish on the backside of the body and a fire engine red cherry stain top...

Well today I routed a channel for the toggle switch wiring and drilled the holes in the neck pickup cavity as well.

I routed the control covers and rounded the backside of the body. Drilled the output jack too.

Did a little binding work to flush it up to the body.

I did some profiling to lower the volume and tone knobs closer to the body.

THIS IS INSANE!!! Seriously, how many kick-ass guitars can you make ALL AT THE SAME TIME?

I know, I know ... CAPS ... but I'm just so stoked by this thread. Really liked the Tuff Dog but was hoping you'd leave the pickups just poking out the flame maple top. Can't wait to see how the Engine 1 turns out - finish sounds sweet from the description and I love what you've done so far. That V is looking cool too. So many guitars ...

UPS brought my neck today so I detailed the pocket joint and worked the back profile and prepared to get ready to glue the neck to the body...

Went and picked up the geetar from Koontz Guitars. Low action with 11's. Mike did another wonderful job as always...Sent her out UPS to Lay's Guitars to have Joel put the Fire Red Burst on and get her ready for wiring. I'll post pics as soon as I get something.
