Is that a Melody Maker?

Nope, it's a 2003 Special. I got the pickguard specially made, and the Bareknuckle Nailbomb pickup was handwired for my specifications. I've wired it so I can use the 2 now redundant pots to act as a second vol/tone channel, which can be switched between using a mini-toggle switch. I also replaced the hardwear and the stock tuners with Grovers.

This is my favourite SG. A beat to shit '91 Standard that I played in every band on every record at every show on every tour for 14 years.
It now resides in it's case under the bed ....

That guitar is such a crime that I bloody love it!

A true punk rock guitar with lots of mojo. Damn I wish I had one I could do that to and give it some character.

Nice work man. Im jealous :dude:

Spot the differences betweeen the 76 and 61 RI.

Harmonica bridge on the 76, different cutaways(61 RI's looks amazingly good), piece between neck pup and fingerboard, black switch tip on the 76, inlays, speed knobs on the 76, the 76 looks lighter (maye it faded), the 76 has a strat on it :laugh2: ,the pickguard screws are positioned differently on the 76 :laugh2: , and the neck joint :thumb:

My small but respective SG family. The blue pewter is somewhat rare.

That has to be the most amazing SG I've ever seen.

Congratulations sir. I might have to go buy an Epiphone SG now.

There goes my savings for the past couple months :laugh2:
