nah, all hardware was added by the previous owner... a big plus for me because i paid a relatively low used price for it, and got all the goodies as well... the previous owner didnt know much about it, he thought it had the stock pups when it in fact had 57 classics! So he must have gotten it 2nd hand as well and didnt bother to ask questions when He bought it... I dont think any of the previous owners played it lol... the frets had almost 0 wear when I got it... It looked like it more or less sat in a cases for its life until it got to me lol... Right now I have Manlius Fat Diane pups in with the Green mod done... I love there sound, especially in the middle position after the mod!

its very well worth it! you can get all kinds of different tones in the middle selection by tweaking the volume and tone knobs
