B-2 Bridge Specs.

I'm looking into a new bridge for my Epi LP Ultra. The stock bridge has a B-2 stamping on its' underside. I was wondering if anyone knew the thread size of the posts that thread into the body (as pictured below). I'm assuming I will be able to find a bridge (looking at Gotoh) that comes with studs that will match the factory thread size. If not, knowing that thread size will help me find adapters, correct? I have also seen the B-2 bridge referred to as the ABR-1, is this accurate when shopping for a new bridge? Thanks for any info, any wise words are very much welcomed. Thanks for looking.

I put a Gotoh on my '09 '56 LP Goldtop P90, and the studs and bridge fit perfectly. I must say, however, than my stock bridge was stamped "Epiphone" on the back.

The Gotoh bridge improved tone and playability a lot.

Go to stewmac.com for dimensions on the Gotoh bridge and studs. On my guitar, it was possible to just "drop on" the bridge without replacing the studs, but the Gotoh studs look and feel more substantial, so I put them in.

Thanks for the reply. I don't mind replacing the studs. However, I would like to avoid replacing the sleeve that accepts the studs, if that makes any sense (the part that is actually pressed into the guitar body). Has anyone had to replace that part? I'm assuming not, but you never know.

I found a bridge that I believe will work (I'm not SURE yet), it's the Gotoh 1511:

No sleeve replacement on my guitar. I'm with you. If I absolutely HAD to change the sleeves, I take the guitar to my luthier. On my guitar the Gotoh studs just screwed right in, and more solidly than the originals.

...this exact bridge should be a straight drop-in replacement, on the existing posts.

Thanks man, that's enough for me to go on! hahaha! I'll deal with the problems when/if they arise.
