May not look like Gibbons' guitar but that's pretty sweet.

This isn't my guitar or my eBay listing if that's what you're saying.

I wouldn't buy this 20k guitar that doesn't even look like Pearly. What's with the aged pickup covers? They look almost rusty (to me anyway). Also, Billy signs his sig by making the S in his last name almost z shaped. I'm not saying it's fake. Certainly the COA and other assessories look legit. I'm just saying for 20K it better really look the part!

^ print your name with a pen and then your name giant sized with a marker. They won't look the same. That signature looks a lot like every other one I've seen here on the forums and I don't think there should be any doubt regarding its authenticity. There's also nothing wrong with the pickup covers. Have a look at my VOS PG. VOS - not Murphy aged.

Seller has some very nice gear listed besides the Pearly a real flamey Bloomfield as well as a sweet looking 50th anny burst, Steve Jones Custom, and a signed Angus SG along with a couple high end Joe S Ibanez. He defiantly has some serious gear.

You are probably right. The covers on my VOS R8 just aged a lot differently and got me wondering. Actually, I have been admiring your Pearly for a long time. The top on your is amazing! He's holding yours in his right hand no?

Cool picture, NXC. Although I'm a fan of the Reverend, can't say I'd pay that much for a reissue when I could have a local luthier make me one for less than half of that.

but your custom built luthier guitar is not a gibson and will not get any money back on it, you will always get your dollar back on one of these signed models.

I think he's saying it's his auction.

Reasonable?...Poor choice of words.

i disagree...what are the other signed ones going for? whether or not 20k for any guitar is 'reasonable' is certainly arguable, however, not the argument would not be objective (as the value any individual places on a particular instrument varies with the individual).

a quick look at the market prices for THAT guitar tells me its not an outlandish price for it...hence, reasonable for that piece. if one is not interested in THAT guitar then sure, 20k is probably not reasonable

BUT, i hear you:)
