It looks new, maybe it's a reissue case...
Good luck
Mid/late 50's 5latch lifton.
Worth 2-5k, depending on finding a motivated buyer.
In unusually good shape, kicks the price up.
wow well dip me in shit and roll me in bread crumbs! nice
Not certain, but I'm pretty sure the cases for the flat-tops are different from the cases for the carved top Les Pauls even back in those days. Whilst you've got a really nice case, I don't think it's worth quite the money that a correct Les Paul Standard case is.

I think Liam is correct, it's not that the case is going to be CHEAP, just cheaper if it is for a slab body instead of a carved top Standard, and thank God for that since Specials are not in the price range of Standards and it's nice to know some parts are not sharing that Burst' parts price range. Does your single cut Special fit tight in the case or does it need a folded towel under the body to keep it from rattling? Nice looking case in very nice condition for having all those travel stickers. Not certain, but I'm pretty sure the cases for the flat-tops are different from the cases for the carved top Les Pauls even back in those days.
