You certainly did go all the way with this one! I've said it before but I'll gladly repeat that I think it looks absolutely fabulous. I didn't even think Krylon would check and the way you got the greening is pretty awesome. Don't think I have anything bad to say about it. Maybe I could point my finger at what looks like rubbing compound residue in the wood pores that weren't filled completely with lacquer, but I guess if vintage lacquer sinks into the pores too, then stuff could get stuck there as well.

Excellent :thumb:

Looks good enough to eat!

My god! That is beautiful! Great job!:applause: I swear that looks real close to the real thing.:thumb:

How much trouble to do something like that ?

And you work as a luthier/restoration or only as a hobby ?

I'm amazed at your result ... and if its your first one and never experienced anything like that before, I should say you have the gift

I do setups and repairs and i'm finishing a Studio for a friend.

Wow, that is top notch...

that is fucking RIDICULOUS. an absolute work of art. i'd rather pay you than gibson for an aged historic.

:thumb: WOW! Good Job! :thumb:

That came out beautiful! love the color and the aging. very tasteful.

we need a list of all the things done to her and how it was done.

Beautiful!!!:applause:

i like the look but the finish cracking looks quite fake in my opinion

But they are natural!!!!!!:thumb:

Looks amazing!

Very nice. Who did the un-winding, and was it trial and error?

Amazing work :yesway:

Amazing work. Beautiful!

Would you mind sharing a more detailed procedure with techniques, products & tools used.
That would be very helpful to us that would like to try this.

While you list what you did, telling us how you did each step would be much appreciated!

I could never do that to a perfectly good LP (I have neither the guts nor the skills). I want my guitar to age with me. Having said that - you have done an amazing job.:applause:

Beautiful.

Amazing guitar man. Could you tell me which ones of the burstbuckers you have in it?
I really liked the tone in the video.

Thank man, those are the BB's pros, but they have been unwound to make them sound like that.

I think we should all name our guitars after ourselves.

The Finklestein Burst.
The Don S Grizewold the Third Burst.
The Charlene Beacham Burst.
The ButtFloss BikiniTeamBurst.

The Billy Bob Guitierrez Burst.
The ClownCar Express Burst.

The Dave #1 Burst
The Dave #2 Burst
The Dave #3 Burst (some folks have more than one, after all).
The Chrissie Jankowski Burst.
My pimple burst.
etc.
